Stopped here a couple of summers ago for a drink with a friend, and vowed to return for food. I was recently craving a good anchovy pizza and this popped up, so I grabbed a pie and salad for takeout. The anchovy pizza was really tasty, but the toppings needed to be more evenly distributed. Anchovies, olives, and capers are all salt bombs, so a bite with all three on such a thin crust was too much. In between bites I found myself needing to take bites of the plain crust to balance things out. I ate the first two slices in the car, but when I got home I redistributed the toppings on the remaining slices and it made for such a delicious pizza. In case you're wondering, the crust here is thin, a tad soggy, and chewy (which I loved). I asked to have my pie made without red sauce (my acid reflux can't handle it) and they were more than accommodating, but I do imagine the addition of sauce would make for an even soggier crust. So be warned if that's not your jam. The kale caesar left a LOT to be desired for $17. For me it was too lightly dressed for such peppery kale--I could hardly taste the dressing and had to make my own. I did enjoy the crostini that came with it, which were seasoned and stayed crunchy enough for me to enjoy the next day for lunch.

Guess who is feeling generous today? That is right. I figure considering I am no longer able to say I am in my early thirties in less than 24 hours, it is best to sacrifice one and call it good than be a Scrooge and find negativity in a restaurant where I really could not find any. Sure, the pizza is a little on the small side, but it is certainly one of the best Neapolitan style pizzas that I have had in Brooklyn. Move aside Saraghina. This pizzeria has one brunch pie that still has me salivating hours after eating it. It is the Panchetta, Egg, and Cheese pie. Offered only on the weekends, and for good reason. I asked my server to put it on the menu all the time and they refused because it is such a top seller. Nobody would be able to get in at anytime because of this pie. Everything about it is perfect. The salty meat, the silky egg, the sharp cheese. It is brunch on a pizza. Nothing more or less. You cannot make it any better than what is given here. The Margherita pizza is a good baseline. Tried and true, works well for anybody looking for a simple pie. Nothing overdone, good sauce flavor that is nice and red, and the slices hold their integrity quite well. If going with a group this is a great pie to get for those who like it easy. Speaking of pies and groups, you will need to order 2-3 pies to really enjoy the pizza here as the pies are a little on the smaller side. The customer service is friendly and cute. Our server was bubbly and friendly and cute (without the tattoos she would have looked much better), and everybody seems to be on their game. This is how a pizzeria should operate. I sadly could not get her name, but I will be back again so hopefully I will see her again. It is super close to the 2/3/4/5 lines, particularly the Franklin Ave/Medgar Evers college subway station. The proximity to Prospect Park helps too. Highly recommended.

I had friends with me who raved about their pizza so I was so excited to try the pizza. I liked the Arugula salad that came with a generous helping of pine nuts. However, the margarita pizza was underwhelming. I can't say enough positive things about the service, absolutely top notch. The place is noisy but I think given the location it's not a surprise . I'll go back just for the service.

For a Tuesday evening, this place was bumping. The pizza was great so I understand why! Luckily snagged a table for 2 with no wait. Surprisingly large space with quite a bit of seating. Our waiter was a little slammed so service was kinda slow, and bar was backed up but that was fine. Once our order was taken, the pizza came out quickly. We had the margherita and the sopressata picante. Both were fantastic. My only gripe is that you have to pay an extra $3 for hot honey on the sopressata. Glad I did, as it fulfilled my craving and tasted amazing but still a pricey personal pizza for my taste. Would likely come back, as they have happy hour M-F and you can never go wrong with a good pizza. Rating 4/5 stars!
